NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Saturday (December 27th): NHL Predictions
Nashville Predators vs St. Louis Blues
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
Grizzled veteran Steven Stamkos, a former two-time Richard Trophy winner as the NHL’s top goal scorer, makes another surprising appearance in my goal-scoring parlay. Stamkos may have only scored 15 goals this season, but he’s been a streaky scorer.
And he’s on another of his hot streaks right now, scoring eight goals over his last 10 games. Only one player in the league has scored more over his last 10.
Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
The lone player to have outscored Stamkos over his last 10 games would, of course, be the Edmonton Oilers’ Connor McDavid. McDavid has nine goals over his past 10 games and an incredible 27 points in that span.
This is the second night of a back-to-back Battle of Alberta (with the Christmas break in between). And while McDavid let me down in the first meeting by not scoring (he ‘only’ managed five assists instead), he’s so hot I like his chances at lighting the lamp tomorrow night.
