It’s never too early to start scouting the future of the NFL, your favorite team, and your future fantasy football teams! The College Football Bowl season is crazy this year, usually it’s just the list of what players opted out of games we have to worry about. This season, 10 entire teams completely opted out of accepting bowl invitations and decided to focus on next season. On the eve of the biggest day of bowl games, let’s dig through and see who is planning to play, and who we should keep an eye on when it comes to NFL Draft prospects to watch during this College Football Bowl season.
NFL Draft Prospects to Watch During College Football Bowl Season
Dani Dennis-Sutton – Edge – Penn State
Dennis-Sutton has all the physical traits. The 6’5”, 272-pound edge who runs a 4.68 40-yard dash has had a disappointing season with just 6.5 sacks and 38 tackles. Maybe some of it was just Penn State not being as good as expected, but this game gives Dennis-Sutton one last chance to unleash hell and raise his draft stock. Some of Denni-Sutton’s biggest pros are his NFL-ready size, his violent hand usage, powerful bull rush, disciplined edge setting, and impressive closing burst. Dennis-Sutton is currently projected to be a second or third-round draft pick.

Cade Klubnik – Quarterback – Clemson
The man Dennis-Sutton will be chasing around is also trying to get one more good game on tape. There was some question of whether Klubnik would play or not, but he seems set to go despite the call for snow in this game. The Tigers quarterback threw for 2,750 yards and 16 touchdowns this season. It was another player who was a bit of a letdown after a 3,600 and 36 performance last season. The 6’2”, 210lb quarterback’s strengths include his deep ball touch, his dual threat ability, natural timing, and natural improvisation skills. His long college career battling through injuries and still being as good as he is, also has him on track to likely be a third-round pick in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
Logan Jones – Center – Iowa
Iowa knows how to produce the big uglies up front, and Logan Jones is the next in that line. The 6’3”, 302lb center has often been compared to the Kansas City Chiefs’ Creed Humpfrey. The two-sport (basketball) high school star brings elite athleticism to the position. He is a nasty finisher who drives defenders down the field in the run game. He’s durable and a quick study. Jones will likely be ready to play in the NFL sooner rather than later, and also projects to be in that second-to-third-round range.
Jake Golday – Linebacker – Cincinnati
Golday looks like you special-ordered him to play for your favorite NFL franchise. At 6’4” 240lbs the Central Arkansas transfer is intelligent and mentally tough. He possesses great athleticism and strength and has the potential to be a three-down linebacker at the next level. Golday racked up 104 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2025. Golday is solidly projected to be a second-round pick.
Skyler Bell – Wide Receiver- UConn
Skyler Bell isn’t going to blow you away with the size, strength, and speed you might hope to see out of an NFL prospect. What he does bring is great route running, and his ability to move with the ball in his hands sets him apart. Bell caught 101 passes in 2025 for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged 12.7 yards per catch, with a longest play of 80 yards. The dynamic and versatile redshirt senior saw his draft stock rise this year. He could even hear his name in the second round of the NFL Draft.
UConn’s Skyler Bell has been on an absolute tear this season:
– 1,081 REC Yards (2nd)
– 13 REC TD (1st)
– 85 Receptions (1st)
– Seven straight games with at least 1 TD
– Recorded at least 80 Yards in 8/10 gamesUnderrated. pic.twitter.com/4AJKnwVW0b
