Houston Texans vs Los Angeles Chargers

We get a doozy of a matchup kicking the action off tomorrow, as the 10-5 Houston Texans head west to face the 11-4 Los Angeles Chargers. While the Chargers have punched their ticket to the postseason already, the Texans can do so tomorrow (but they’re pretty much a lock either way).
While this game isn’t crucial for either team to see the playoffs, it is important in terms of seeding, with both squads still in the running for a top-three seed in the conference. Yet despite the slight difference in win-loss records and the fact that the Chargers are already playoff-bound, the Texans are the far superior team here when you dive into the advanced stats.
Houston has played the stronger schedule, has a better offense, and a way better defense. Plus, the Texans are the league’s hottest team, winning their last seven games. My line is Houston -6, so I’ll gladly take the Texans as a road dog.
