The StaffDNA Cure Bowl kicks off at 5:00 ET on ESPN from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. USF is without head coach Alex Golesh who left for Auburn along with offensive coordinator Joel Gordon and most of the offensive coaching staff. As of now their only opt out is quarterback Byrum Brown. On the Old Dominion side of the ball, they’ll also be without their quarterback Colton Joseph who opted out of the game.

Kickoff in the 68 Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Alabama’s Hancock Whitney Stadium is set for 8:30 ET and also airs on ESPN. As of this writing, there are no known opt outs for either of these football teams. Both teams finished their seasons 6-6 and it’s Delaware’s first ever Bowl game appearance.

College Football Bowl Best Bets: Wednesday, December 17th

Old Dominion +3 (-107)

Both teams are playing with a backup quarterback, so there’s no obvious starter vs backup angle here. USF missing not only their head coach but entire offensive staff with a new quarterback is also concerning. Backup quarterback Quinn Henicle started a game last season and led the team to a win over Arkansas State completing nine of 12 passes for 143 yards and rushing for 206 yards on the ground. Old Dominion is the better team, in the better situation.

Delaware +3 (-110)

Riding both dogs on a Wednesday night. The Blue Hens are making their first ever Bowl game appearance. It’s their first season as an FBS school, and due to the opt outs and going 6-6 they’ve been given the opportunity to play in a bowl game. Bowl games have lost their luster overall, but for these players moving this program up and being successful right from the start. Now getting the opportunity to play in a bowl game, they’ll bring their A-game. Both Wednesday dogs are live on the moneyline.
