Wow, I am cooking in December on my daily NBA plays. Going 17-11 this month has me up some serious money, and has pushed my season Return on Investment to 4%. But, as a true degen, I want more. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Tuesday, December 16th (NBA Cup Championship).

San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
I guess the NBA Cup is ok. Players seem to care about it and play harder than normal, and show up on the injury list for its games a bit less than normal. However, the courts are an eyesore, and the Cup creates havoc on the NBA schedule, leaving us with only one game to watch and bet on tomorrow night.
And this game between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks doesn’t even count. It will determine the winner of the 2025 NBA Cup, but it doesn’t count in the standings or a player’s stats. It’s an anomaly.
It will be meaningful to whichever team wins this game, though, hopefully propelling them to greater feats as the season progresses. And all the key players are good to go tomorrow night, including San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama.
Despite the big Frenchman’s presence, I’m going with the home side in this championship game. My line is New York -6.5, so I really like the Knicks to cover at the spread we’re getting at the books.
