Daily NBA Player Props – December 12th

Michael Porter Jr. – Over 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-119)

In player props, there is no such thing as a lock. However, recent trends would suggest that this is as close to that as we can get. In his last three games, Porter Jr. has beaten this mark with his points alone. The other game, he came up just 1.5 points away from doing it. That means what he gets in rebounds and assists – which is generally around 10 per game – is almost just a bonus. Sure, he isn’t going to keep up a 34.3 points per game average, but Dallas doesn’t exactly have a tough defense either.

Matas Buzelis – Over 14.5 Points (-109)

As the Bulls have slowly fallen apart and begun to lose hope on their season, they have realized the need to grow their young players. As a result, Buzelis has been more of a focal point in the offense. In his last four games, we’ve seen an huge increase in his shot attempts and he’s cleared this projection in three of the four. Charlotte is one of the very worst defenses in the league, and his line is only this low because he had eight points last time they played. However, he had a rough night from three-point that day, and it was before the aformentioned increase.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (+149)

This may seem like a big ask for our final prop, but Alexander-Walker has been handling it with ease. In his last six games, he’s been over this mark in four of them. His average in that span is 4.5 makes per game. Up against Detroit, the Hawks are likely going to be chasing points early and often. That just means more attempts for Alexander-Walker in this one.
