NFL Survivor Picks Week 15

NFL Survivor Picks Week 15

Last week we got back to 3-0. Our two locks hit, and so did the dog as the Texans upset the Chiefs. We’ve had a winner every week and are looking to keep the action going as we advance in our leagues. Let’s take a look at the Week 15 NFL Survivor picks! The end is near!

As a reminder, I’m giving out two locks each week, in case you’ve already used the first one. I’m also giving out a contrarian dog play that I think will hit to try and give you an advantage over your league mates!

The Lock: Chicago Bears

The easiest pick for your NFL Survivor picks in Week 15 is the Chicago Bears. The Bears are coming off a loss to the Green Bay Packers. Some say it was a testament that it was the same old Bears. Others say it proved that these are not the same old Bears. The game came down to the last second with an interception.

Now the Bears, off a back-to-back road game spot, get to come home to take on the Cleveland Browns. “We’re the Cleveland Browns!” We know they are, and even though Shedeur has shown some little flashes here and there, this offense still struggles.

Myles Garrett isn’t 100% and just as Micah Parsons said last week, it’s frustrating trying to get Caleb Williams. Expect Ben Johnson to scheme up all sorts of plays to take Garrett out of the mix on defense. On offense, this Bears defense is starting to get healthier. If Jaylon Johnson is no longer on a snap count, and Kyler Gordon and Tyrique Stevenson are good to go, watch out.

Let’s top it off with the fact that Rome Odunze was an unexpected scratch due to his foot injury last week. I think he’ll be back, and he serves as Caleb’s safety blanket on many plays.  Bears win and keep your survivor hopes alive.

Another Confident Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars

The other lock for your NFL survivor picks in Week 15 is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars face off against the New York Jets this weekend. Tyrod Taylor and Justin Fields are not practicing and appear as if they’ll miss the game due to injury. That means the Jaguars get Brady Cook.

The Jaguars just took care of business against the Colts in a huge divisional matchup. However, they can’t let up now. They need to be firing on all cylinders to hold off the Colts and their newly signed quarterback, Philip Rivers. The Texans are also hot on their trail after a mid-season resurgence.

The Jets haven’t had a great year. They are in a rebuild, and their Justin Fields’ experiment didn’t seem to work out. On top of that, they traded away some key players on defense right before the trade deadline. Sure, they’ve been a little feisty in some of their games. However, I don’t think they can keep up with Brady Cook at quarterback. They’re a lock.

An Underdog Pick: Denver Broncos

Finally, let’s take a look at an underdog pick that maybe nobody else is looking at. The team I’m circling on the NFL Survivor picks in Week 15 to pull off the upset is the Denver Broncos. Maybe it’s just because my Bears need the Broncos to beat the Packers. So I guess take it with a grain of salt. However, this Broncos team is playing very good football, even if it is in close games.

Denver is not an easy place to travel to and play, especially in winter. Yes, the Packers are used to the cold weather. However, it’s that mile-high altitude that ends up getting the road teams. Two years ago, the Packers were a far better team than the Broncos. They rolled into Mile High Stadium and lost to Russell Wilson and the Broncos.

If Russell Wilson can beat them, Bo Nix definitely can.
