NFL Prop Shop: Top Week 15 Player Prop Bets

It’s a huge weekend in the NFL as we creep closer to the NFL Playoffs. Some teams’ playoff hopes are hanging in the balance, and seeding for both conferences is very much up in the air. Teams are going from the #1 seed to the #7 seed in one single week, and it’s all up in the air. Let’s comb through this weekend’s games and find the top Week 15 NFL player prop bets.

All 32 teams will be in action for the remaining four weeks of the season. At this point, only nine teams are eliminated from playoff contention. That means 23 teams have a lot to play for in terms of getting into the playoffs or finalizing their seedings. It’s also that time of the year when contract incentives start to creep into the minds of players and coaches as they get closer to reaching those contract goals.

Drake Maye Over 234.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Let’s start with the easy play first. The Patriots were off last week, so we couldn’t play this prop with MVP hopeful Drake Maye. But he’s back this week, and they are once again underestimating him. I’ve given this out for four straight weeks before the bye, either in this article or the Thursday Night Football article. It’s cashed all four times we’ve played it.

I don’t see how it doesn’t cash again this week. Since Week 2, Maye has passed for over 200 yards while having a passer rating of 100+ in 10 of the 13 games. He’s surpassed the 200-yard mark in all 13 Patriots games this year, and gone over this total in 10 games, including the last six in a row. He’s yet to hit 300 yards, but still sits second in the league in passing yardage because of his consistency week to week. Last time he played the Bills, he passed for 273 yards in their win. If it’s a win for the Patriots, it’ll be due to Maye throwing well. If it’s a loss, he’ll have to throw to keep them in it.

Patrick Mahomes Over 21.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

This is another one that’s been kind to us recently. The Kansas City Chiefs are in real danger of missing the 2025 NFL Postseason. Patrick Mahomes is great at being great, and they need that out of him right now. They needed it last week, and he delivered with his legs. It ended up not being enough to win the game, but it was enough to easily cash his rushing props.

Mahomes rushed for 59 yards against a stout Houston Texans defense. It was his third straight game rushing for at least 28 yards, and he’s done so in nine contests this year. When these teams played in Week 1, Mahomes had 57 yards in a tough battle that the Chiefs lost. He’s backed into a corner and has to use every bit of his talent, which includes great scrambling ability. I’ll ladder this one all the way to 80+ yards at 34/1? Yes please.

Matthew Stafford Over 272.5 Passing Yards (-111)

We’re not messing around this week, going with all the big-hitting quarterbacks. Matthew Stafford leads the MVP odds and for good reason. The veteran quarterback has been dealing all season long. He’s gone over this total in seven games this season, including four of the Rams’ last six contests. This week, he gets to face his former team, the Detroit Lions. Last year, when he faced them, he threw for 317 yards on 49 attempts. Stafford will bring his A-Game in what looks to be a shootout game with the highest over/under of the week.

Wan’Dale Robinson Over 5.5 Catches (+120)

Stepping away from star quarterbacks to a wide receiver who is quick, shifty, and flies under the radar. Robinson has caught at least six passes in the last two games for the New York Giants and in six of their last eight games. Robinson doesn’t get the respect he deserves when it comes to being a solid weapon year in and year out. Eight times this season, he’s hit six catches and has quickly become a favorite target of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. Last season, with a variety of quarterbacks throwing him the ball, Robinson caught five or more passes in 12 games. Mr reliable is going to get targets, and he’ll make the most of them.
