The mini Monday slate has come and gone, and now we have a version of a Super Tuesday slate. Tonight’s schedule features a pair of Jimmy V Classic games, a couple of Big Ten conference games, and a handful of buy games mixed in. The good news is that we’ve gone from only seven games on Monday to over 20 on Tuesday. We’ve dug through the schedule, crunched all the numbers, and found three college basketball picks that you’ll want to lock up.

Matt Dewoskin ATS College Basketball Picks Record (Est 11/3/2025)
All Selections: 62-44-2
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 7-29
Buffalo at UMBC
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
Buffalo comes into this game 8-1 overall and 2-0 on the road. The Bulls are 6-2 ATS, and 2-0 ATS on the road.
UMBC enters this matchup with a 6-3 overall record and a 4-0 record at home. The Retrievers are 3-3-1 ATS and 0-1-1 ATS at home.
Buffalo has been a spread darling this year. The Bulls have won on the road at DePaul and at Canisius. They have a deep roster and can shoot better than expected. The Bulls are also hitting the road off a loss to St. Bonaventure.
UMBC is 4-0 at home, but their wins are against two lower division programs, Wagner and Delaware State. Buffalo is by far the best team to come into Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena.
Neither team is great defensively, but the Bulls have a much better offense than UMBC. Buffalo can make free throws and doesn’t turn the ball over. Those traits tend to travel well, and UMBC is a bottom-100 team in the nation. This line is stinky, but let’s ride with the Bulls to win another game on the road and cover the number.
Best Bet: Buffalo -2.5
Howard at North Carolina A&T
Start Time: 7:00 PM Est
Howard comes into this matchup at 5-5 overall. The Bison are 3-4 ATS this year
North Carolina A&T enters this game at 4-3 overall, but 4-2 ATS. This game will be played at Cameron Indoor Arena in Durham, NC.
Howard and North Carolina A&T are similar from a metrics perspective. Howard is a better shooting team, but the Aggies measure out as the better defensive squad.
NC A&T is off a rivalry win, and this is the third time Howard has played in this gym. The Bison can also make free throws, and they don’t turn the ball over often. Howard and the points are the side here. Let’s lock up the Bison and sprinkle the money line.
Best Bet: Howard +4.5
Long Beach State at San Jose State
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
Long Beach State enters this game with a 2-8 overall record, but they have a 5-4 ATS record this year. The Beach is 0-5 on the road, but has a 2-3 record ATS on the road.
San Jose State comes into this matchup with a 4-5 overall record, and they’re 3-1 at home. The Spartans are 5-3 ATS, but 2-1 against the spread at home.
Long Beach State isn’t good enough to beat teams, but they’ve been able to stay within the number. The Beach just played UC-Santa Barbara and took the Gauchos to overtime. They also only lost to UC-San Diego and Montana State by six.
San Jose State plays a style that isn’t conducive to blowouts. The Spartans grind on teams and play at a remarkably slow pace. Long Beach State is capable enough to stay within the number on this one. Let’s lock up The Beach to keep this close. They’re not as bad as their record, and they’ve been good against the number this year.
Best Bet: Long Beach State +7.5
