The Buffalo area in December – who could ask for more?! It’s going to be a balmy 32 degrees tomorrow at Highmark Stadium when the 8-4 Buffalo Bills welcome the 4-8 Cincinnati Bengals to town. Unfortunately, the recent play of both teams isn’t going to help heat things up.
If the Bills are to reach the 13 wins they achieved last season (and the over on their pre-season 12.5 win total), they’re going to have to run the table the rest of the season. However, they haven’t won back-to-back games since Week 8, swapping wins with losses the past four weeks.
The good news for Buffalo is that it’s the Bengals visiting tomorrow. Cincinnati is crummy, especially on the road, where they’ve only won twice in six tries. The Bengals’ defense is just about average (like the Bills’), but their offense is totally anemic.
My line for this game is Buffalo -17, so there’s plenty of value on the Bills on the spread.
