The bad part about playing the hottest shooters in my daily goal-scoring parlays is that you end up writing about the same players quite often. The good part is cashing the big payouts when they inevitably hit. I’ll take that tradeoff any day. Here comes one of those names that I referred to in my introduction, a guy who keeps showing up in my daily parlays multiple times a week. But there’s a reason that I keep playing the Dallas Stars’ Jason Robertson.
Robertson is the hottest player in the league, with 11 goals over his last 10 games. That brings him up to 16 on the season, a 47-goal pace, which would be a career best for him.

Which brings us to another guy who has been creeping into more and more of my parlays. That would be the (tied for) oldest player in the league, Alex Ovechkin.
At the start of the season, it looked like Ovie was finally starting to show his age. Then he went and scored nine goals over the last 10 games.
