Daily NBA Player Props – December 3rd
Desmond Bane – Over 23.5 Points (-108)
Since the exit of Paolo Banchero, Desmond Bane has seen an uptick in his offense. Since the Magic’s top scorer went down with an injury, Bane has averaged 24.1 points per game, which puts him over this projection. Some of that is due to the offensive outbrust in the last two games – scoring 37 in each of them. A lot of that extra scoring has come from driving and getting more contact and, as a result, more foul shot attempts. With Victor Wembanyama still on the sidelines and the Spurs ranking in the top ten of fouls per game, you can imagine that trend should continue.
Josh Giddey – Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105)
Giddey may have only hit this mark in two of his last five games, but there are some positive signs moving forward in this one. Firstly, he nearly hit the mark last time out against the Magic, who are a far superior defense to what we see from the Nets. Additionally, he has come closer to the mark with rebounds on an upward trajectory. Luckily for him, the Nets rank 27th in rebounding percentage, which should get him a couple more there as well.
Deni Avdija – Over 40.5 Points + Rebounds + assists (-120)
The Blazers’ forward has been on fire lately. If you take his combined PRA over the last three games, he’s putting up 52.7 per game. That’s obviously wel above the mark we’re looking for and a large part of that is his work dishing the ball. Despite having only 6.1 assists per game this year, he’s putting up 10.7 per game over the last three. With the Cavaliers having given up 122.0 points per game over their last three, there is a real path to him putting up some more gaudy numbers.
