Daily NBA Player Props – December 2nd

Saddiq Bey – Over 6.5 Rebounds (+117)

On the season, Bey is averaging just 6.0 rebounds per game, which might explain why this line is at plus-money. However, it’s the last five games that I’m banking on here for the Pelicans guard. In that span, he’s put up 10.4 boards per game, and he hasn’t once come in under 6.5. Bey had similar stretches last year and averaged 6.5 on the season. We’ll bank on him keeping that trend going in the right direction for at least one more.

CJ McCollum – Over 19.5 Points (-114)

The big news out of Philadelphia for Tuesday is that both teams will be without their big man. Alex Sarr and Joel Embiid are both reported to be out. Sarr being out is bound to create more chances to score for McCollum. He’s coming off back-to-back games without Sarr in which he scored at least 20 points. Without Embiid, the game is bound to move a little faster and be higher paced. That also should increase scoring, which we might not even need with the 76ers ranking 22nd in defensive scoring.

Zach Edey – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-121)

Edey has been going nuts on the board lately. If you don’t include the game against Denver that he left early due to an injury, Edey is putting up 16.5 rebounds per game over his last five. That includes 17 on Sunday against the Kings and 19 on Friday against the Clippers. While he had a late start to his season, the Purdue-product has settled in nicely. With the Spurs small lineup and the absence of Victor Wembanyama, the path to another gaudy stat line is pretty clear.
