MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 323
UFC 323: Dvalishvili vs Yan 2
Main Card Start Time: 10:00 PM EST (Dec 6th) – (PPV)
UFC Flyweight Champion Alexandre Pantoja remains one of the UFC’s most overlooked champions. Despite being the 125-pound king since 2023 and having already successfully defended his title four times, you don’t hear too much talk about Pantoja.
At age 35, with 35 pro fights on his resume, the end at the top is surely coming near for Pantoja, and the UFC is feeding him a contender, Joshua Van, 11 years his junior this week. However, Van isn’t nearly the grappler that the champ is, and I think the Brazilian will take advantage of his strong wrestling and grappling to put the Myanmar challenger on his back.
