Looking at the past two weeks, anytime touchdown bets, I can’t decide if I’m being too obvious or not obvious enough. However, much like a good quarterback, we’ve got to have a short memory. Threw an interception? Move on to the next play. That’s exactly how I attack my NFL bets. It’s Thanksgiving weekend, and we’re about to be thankful for all the touchdowns! Let’s take a look at the NFL week 13 touchdown bets I’m feeling will cash this weekend with my NFL bets!
NFL Week 13 Anytime Touchdowns
Jahmyr Gibbs (-195)
First up on the list of players I’m circling for NFL Week 13 anytime touchdown bets is Jahmyr Gibbs. This is the chalkiest pick I’ve put in my anytime touchdown picks before. However, the dude is coming off a three-touchdown game, and his price still isn’t adjusted to -230 like a guy like Saquon’s.
That’s likely because of the matchup against the Green Bay Packers, who have been solid against the run. In fact, they’ve only allowed an average of half a rushing touchdown to running backs per game. This game is different, though. It’s on Thanksgiving. It’s a huge divisional game that will determine division order, playoff seeding, and more. Due to how the schedules look, this could be a make-or-break game for either of these teams.
Therefore, I’m going to rely on ole reliable. Sure, we bet on David Montgomery last week, so he’ll probably get in this week and vulture all Gibbs’ touchdowns. However, I’m betting that’s not what happens and that Gibbs gets in the endzone, whether on the ground or through the air. Until his price goes north of -200, I’m going to continue to place my bets on him.
James Cook (-115)
The next one is still chalky, but I feel good about it. My next pick among my NFL week 13 anytime touchdown bets is James Cook. Cook started the season with touchdowns in four straight games. He’s tapered off a little since then.
Cook did get in the endzone last weekend against the Houston Texans and will look to get his touchdown momentum back up and rolling. The Bills go up against the Steelers, another team that is solid against the running back position. Especially when it comes to touchdowns.
However, Kyle Monongai just got in the endzone when the Bears and Steelers played. It’s James Cook’s turn now. He’s been very consistent and received a heavy dose of work every game. Carries equals opportunities equals potential touchdowns.
With the return of Rodgers, look for the Bills to metriculate the ball down the field with Cook. He’s bound to break a big one, just like he did last week. Which, by the way, we cashed in on over at Old-Fashioned Football. Subscribe for a prop and a lock each game!
Christian McCaffrey (-115)
We’ll continue our list of NFL week 13 anytime touchdowns with Christian McCaffrey. You’re about to not be able to breathe due to all the chalk in the air. My goal here is to hit on players I feel like I can count on to absolutely get in the endzone and parlay them together. If they all do, we still get a nice 20/1 payout, whether the picks are chalky or not.
I know CMC is playing against a tough Browns defense. However, it’s CMC. This is a guy who has 12 total touchdowns this year in 12 games. Between running the ball and catching passes, McCaffrey is averaging 24.8 touches per game.
It’s an unbelievable rate, and with his injury history, you have to hope it’s sustainable. We’re not going to dive into that negativity and put the vibes out there, though. Instead, we’re just going to put out the vibes that he’ll get in the endzone this weekend. I don’t care how tough the defense is. It’s still Christian McCaffrey.
Jalen Hurts (-110)
Next up on our list of NFL Week 13 anytime touchdowns is Jalen Hurts. I know, I know. You’re wondering when the chalk will end. We’re like Lebron James up in here. Which, by the way, I can’t believe I just said that. I’m in the “Lebron will never be better than MJ or Kobe” club. Don’t cancel me, or I’ll flop harder than “King” James himself.
Anyways, back to Jalen Hurts. Super Bowl Champion, Jalen Hurts. He’s coming off a two rushing touchdown performance in a game they ended up losing to division rival, the Dallas Cowboys. He’s got to be sitting there pissed off that they collapsed and lost. He’s got to be ready to put this team on his back.
Luckily for him, he gets the beat-up Chicago Bears. I know they played an inspiring game against the Mason Rudolph-led Steelers. They’ve been playing very well. However, this team is just wrecked in the front seven with injuries. Practice squad guys, guys that have recently been picked up, and backup’s backups are in.
I’m a Bears fan, but I don’t see the magic happening in Friday afternoon’s game. The Eagles are going to rout the Bears and win this game easily. That will include at least one rushing touchdown from Jalen Hurts.
Zach Charbonnet (+125)
Last on the list of NFL Week 13 anytime touchdowns is Zach Charbonnet. Good ole’ Zach Charbonnet. You know, I partially don’t like this guy, and we’re putting him here in spite. Maybe give him a little bad ju-ju or jinx him. That’s because last week I said I wasn’t worried about him vulturing a touchdown due to thinking the Seahawks would score plenty. Well, he did vulture the touchdown when I placed my bet on Walker, and he’s going to do it again.
I heard it all offseason leading up to the year. “Zach Charbonnet fits this new offensive scheme better than Kenneth Walker”. I still thought Walker was in line for the majority of the work. For the most part, he is. Walker has 147 carries compared to Charb’s 111. Walker has also caught the ball more.
However, Charbonnet continues to get the redzone looks and has outscored Walker. Charbonnet has now scored seven touchdowns on the year compared to Walker’s four. They love getting this guy the ball in the red zone, and I don’t expect that to change against a bad Vikings’ team. The game is in Seattle, and this could be a blowout. Although I am intrigued to see what Max Brosman, the ultimate Bro, can do if McCarthy is out.
Parlay Round-Robin Numbers:
By 2’s: + 252
By 3’s: + 559
By 4’s: + 1126
5 Leg Parlay: +2171
Since I went so chalky, here’s just a couple not-as-chalky bonus plays for your Thanksgiving weekend. Jameson Williams (+175), Kyle Monangai (+230), Taysom Hill (+135), George Kittle (+155), and Alec Pierce (+270).
