Daily NBA Player Props – November 21st
Michael Porter Jr. – Over 24.5 Points (+118)
Michael Porter Jr. is fresh off a 25-point game against the same Celtics that he’ll see on Friday night. That’s right on the edge of the projection here, but he’s been trending up anyways. He has 25.8 per game average over the month of Novemeber and is clearly getting the lion’s share of shots for this awful Nets squad (18.6 attempts per game). He’s met this number in five of his last seven games, and I expect to see more of that here.
Josh Giddey – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (+111)
There’s a lot to like about Giddey’s chances to rack up some deep balls here. Firstly, he’s up against the Heat, who rank 24th in the league in terms of three-pointers allowed with 14.5 per game. Additionally, Colby White is banged up and might miss this one, which would let the Bulls rely on Giddey a touch more than they already do. In addition to all of that, Giddey has made multiple deep balls in four of his last six contests.
Max Christie – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+137)
Another three-point prop I like is Max Christie. Sure, he’s not the end-all be-all for this Mavericks offense, but he is consistently putting up at least three of these. In fact, he’s done so in five of his last six games. Much like Giddey, he’s up against one of the worst teams in the league in defending the three. New Orleans ranks 27th in the league with 14.8 allowed per game.
