It’s already Week 12 of NFL action, and the playoff race is heating up. If the playoffs started today, the Broncos and Patriots would have the top two seeds in the AFC. The Eagles and Rams are a bit less surprising as they’d have the top seeds in the NFC. The Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Detroit Lions would all miss the playoffs as it stands now. Luckily for those teams, we’ve still got seven weeks of regular-season games. Let’s dive into this week’s NFL Prop Shop and find the top Week 12 player prop bets.
The Week 12 slate of games is all over the place. International games are done, so no need to set that alarm on Sunday morning. The Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts square off in Kansas City in a huge game for the AFC playoff picture in the 1:00 ET window. Four games in that early window have spreads of eight points or more. The Steelers at Bears and the Vikings at Packers are the other two highly competitive games. In the afternoon window, all eyes will be on the Eagles at the Cowboys as those NFC East teams face off for a second time. Sunday Night should be electric as Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers head to Los Angeles to take on the red-hot Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Monday, Week 12 will wrap up with a somewhat intriguing matchup of the Panthers on the road in San Francisco.
NFL Prop Shop: Top Week 12 Player Prop Bets
Quinshon Judkins Over 18.5 Rush Attempts (-118)
There’s no better place to start than in this Raiders-Browns game. It’s Geno Smith vs Shedeur Sanders with two of the worst teams in the league. The only way to have interest in this game is to have action on it. So here we go! Sanders has officially been named the starter for this game as Dillon Gabriel remains in concussion protocol. It’s well known that this coaching staff isn’t a fan of Sanders. They’ve given him hardly any practice snaps and actively said they didn’t want to start him.
Add on the fact that he hasn’t been great from what we’ve seen so far. This Browns coaching staff should run the ball, right up the middle, every single play of this game. Then, let their furious defense do the rest. And I don’t think that’s far off from what we’ll see. Let Sanders work with short, quick passes and run the ball a lot. The Raiders will likely sell out to stop it; that’s why I like the attempts more than the yards. As they say, “run the damn ball,” Cleveland.
Jaxson Smith-Njigba Over 94.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The Seattle Seahawks’ offense had its struggles last week against the Los Angeles Rams, which included four interceptions by Sam Darnold. That didn’t stop Smith-Njigba from having a big day receiving. He still caught nine passes for 105 yards against a tough defense. Smith-Njigba has arrived big time on the scene this season and has gone over 100 yards receiving in five of the last six games. His horrible game against the Arizona Cardinals was only for a lowly 93 yards. He’s actually gone over this total in eight of his 10 games this year, with his worst day being that first Cardinals matchup for 79 yards.

Now they get to face a horrible Tennessee Titans team to rebound from their devastating loss. This Seahawks team is going to ball out, and we’ve seen it before this season, where they take care of business against bad teams. Darnold is going to be on a mission to prove he’s not a four-interception guy, and who better to feed than the man who’s been a beast all year long?
Drake Maye Over 252.5 Passing Yards (-115)
This bet made this article in Week 10, and the Thursday Night Preview article last week. It has cashed both weeks, and they’ve still not adjusted it enough, so we’ll run it back once more. Since Week 2, Maye has passed for over 200 yards while having a passer rating of 100+ in nine of the 10 games. He’s surpassed the 200-yard mark in all 11 Patriots games this year, and gone over this total in eight games, including the last four in a row. He’s yet to hit 300 yards, but still leads the league in passing yardage because of his consistency week to week.
This week, he gets to go against the Cincinnati Bengals. The worst defense in the league, giving up 418.2 yards per game of total offense. They are second only to the Pittsburgh Steelers when it comes to passing defense, allowing 257.3 yards per game. Maye has been steady, efficient, and unbreakable thus far. We’re going to ride this prop bet until it stops coming through for us.
Derrick Henry Over 88.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Derrick Henry started the season with a 169-yard rushing game against the Buffalo Bills. But quickly disappeared when Lamar Jackson and half the team seemed to be hurt. From weeks 2-5, he didn’t do much before another huge game. Now, over the last five games, he’s had at least 71 rushing yards in each game, going over the century mark in three of those.
Derrick Henry career yards per carry by month:
-September: 4.3
-October: 4.8
-November: 4.9
-December: 5.2
-January: 5.4Up next: Jets, Bengals, Steelers, and Bengals again.

This week, he gets the New York Jets, who were already a bad defense, and then traded everyone at the deadline. Without guys like Quinten Williams to stuff the middle of this defense. It’s going to cause wide-open holes for Henry to plow through. The Jets have allowed 130.9 yards per game on the ground through the first 11 weeks. The Ravens have cleaned up the offense and gotten healthier; they should run all over the Jets this weekend.
