Best Bet For Thursday (November 20th): NFL Predictions
Buffalo Bills vs Houston Texans
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
The AFC is on display this week on Thursday Night Football, as the AFC East’s Buffalo Bills (7-3) travel southwest to meet the AFC South’s Houston Texans (5-5). Both teams have won three of their last four game as they look to lock up playoff spots (the Bills have pretty much done so; the Texans have lots more work to do).
Houston’s performance of late is even more impressive considering quarterback C.J. Stroud is concussed and has sat out the past two games (and most of the game before that, when the injury occurred). But backup signal caller Davis Mills has played well – better with each game – and has thrown for three touchdowns (with only one interception) and rushed for a game-winning score since taking over the reigns.
So, surprisingly (to me, at least), I’m taking the Texans tomorrow against the Bills. My line is Houston -2, so even without Stroud, we’re being given enough wiggle room on the spread to make a play on it.
