Daily NBA Player Props – November 18th
Lauri Markkanen – Over 26.5 Points (-116)
Markkanen is on a crazy run over the last few games. While he’s 6th in the league in scoring already, he’s blowing his average out of the water over his last three. His season average sits at 30.6 points per game, but he’s averaging 40.7 per game in that span. We’re getting a lower projection thanks to the Lakers being a solid defensive team. However, the Hawks have been a bit better on that side of the court and Markkanen still hung 40 on them.
Jaylen Brown – Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-113)
It’s always tempting to get in on some props when heading to Brooklyn. Jaylen Brown’s points were the first thing to stick out, but the stat combination is probably the easier play here. Over the last three games he’s putting up an average of 13.0 boards and dimes per game. With this line sitting where it is, he’d only need to put up 25 points if he were to keep that going. With the Nets being the worst rebounding team in the league, he should likely trend up on the rebounds as it is to help matters along.
Harrison Barnes – Over 13.5 Points (-113)
Barnes may only be averaging 12.1 per game this year, but this is a game of opportunity for him. With Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle both out for the game, there is going to need to be people who step up in the scoring. He did last game with a few more chances – scoring 20 points in just 30 minutes. Against the Grizzlies, there should be plenty of opportunities too. They rank in the bottom half of the league with 119.8 points per game allowed.
