College Football Week 13 Best Bets: Upset Parlay

It’s hard to believe the 2025 College Football regular season is drawing close to an end. Luckily for us, we’ve still got plenty of action left, and bowl season is just around the corner! Last week was full of near-upsets, but by the time the final whistle blew, the upset damage was minimal. That just means the dogs will be barking this week. So let’s take a look at College Football’s Week 13 best bets, upset parlay style.

MYBOOKIE BONUS

Last week, two of our dogs covered the spread, with chances to win the games late, and that’s really all we can ask for. Iowa gave USC everything they could handle. West Virginia also covered their spread with a big fourth-quarter comeback effort that fell just short in the end. All that talk out of Starkville about it being a big game for Mississippi State to get bowl eligible apparently didn’t get through to the team. They got waxed by the Missouri Tigers, who made them look a lot more like cats than dawgs.

The notable upsets were Oklahoma taking down Alabama in Tuscaloosa, breaking that long home winning streak. Clemson pulled off the upset over Louisville in the ACC, while Arizona knocked off Cincinnati in the Big 12. Navy knocked off South Florida (of course, after letting us down when we bet them). South Carolina came oh-so-close to taking down Texas A&M before blowing that game late. Now is a good time to remind you to bet these teams individually on the moneyline, and I like to bet them with the points as well. If you did this last week, it was hugely successful. If they are good enough to pull the upset, it makes a great case for taking them with the points as well.

College Football Week 13 Best Bets: Upset Parlay

Nebraska (+290)

The Cornhuskers head to Happy Valley as 9.5-point underdogs. We played them two weeks ago as they knocked off UCLA on the road, and we’re back for more. True Freshman TJ Lateef made his first career start in that one after Dylan Raiola went down for the season. The Nebraska coaching staff did a great job of simplifying the playbook for Lateef, and he made the most of it. He went 13/15 passing for 205 yards and three touchdowns. He added 31 yards on the ground, and Emmet Johnson, his Heisman-Worthy running back, ran 28 times for 129 yards and a touchdown. Johnson caught three passes for a staggering 103 yards and two additional touchdowns.

Now with a week off to prepare and install deeper, and work more with Lateef, Nebraska heads into a tough place to play. The place head coach Matt Rhule, once played, and was rumored to be the leading candidate for their currently open job. He’s got this one marked on his calendar and circled over and over. Nebraska will bring their A-Game to this one, and going against a backup coach and backup quarterback, they are live dogs.

Florida (+150)

The Florida Gators have been tough at home in The Swamp this year, except for their opening game, where they inexplicably lost to USF. They took Georgia to the wire, with the game tied going into the fourth quarter. They downed Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns in Gainesville. Even on the road last week, they played a great Ole Miss team tough. They just need DJ Lagway to hold it together and protect the ball.

Tennessee has shown its weakness late in the season. After taking Georgia to overtime, they’ve struggled with each real opponent they’ve played since. Mississippi State should have upset them (another one we were close to in this article), with Tennessee surviving in overtime. Arkansas almost got the best of them at home, but Alabama put a whopping on them on the road. And Oklahoma took them down at home recently. I’m still not convinced in this Tennessee team will. They will prove we shouldn’t be against Florida again this week. Tennessee hasn’t won in the Swamp in their last 10 tries. September 2003 was the last time it happened.

San Jose State (+360)

Three for three on night games on this week, as this sweat will take you late into the evening. San Jose State and San Diego State’s kickoff is set for 10:30 PM ET. This handicap is a simple one for me. Out-offense the other team. San Jose State’s offense is electric, ranking 4th in the nation in passing yards per game (314.90) and 27th overall in total offense per game (433.9).

They’ll have to do it against a tough San Diego State defense, which ranks top 10 in both categories. San Diego State is coming off a huge upset win over Boise State that puts them in the driver’s seat to get to the Mountain West Conference title game. San Jose State is coming off a butt-whooping against Nevada. This is their week to get up and play spoiler.

Nebraska + Florida + San Jose State (+4385)

Toss these three dogs into a cool parlay and $20 pays out a cool $897.00. Enjoy a beautiful day of College Football and root for that nighttime dog action!
