How’s this for a premier Monday Night Football matchup – the 3-5-1 Dallas Cowboys visiting the 2-7 Las Vegas Raiders. The eyes of the nation, trained on these two behemoths. Blech. The best you can say is I guess the teams are evenly matched.
Whether we watch the game or not, we can make money on it. Both teams are slumping, with only one win in their last four, so we can’t really claim the momentum advantage for either one. Dallas has a powerful offense while Las Vegas’ is anemic, but the Cowboys also have a porous defense, while the Raiders’ D is just about average.
Defense wins Monday Night Football matchups, or something. My line is Dallas -2, so the Raiders plus the points at home is going to be my best bet for Monday.
