The NHL was my daily best bet friend for a while there, but they’ve betrayed me, just like every other sport. But, since I’m a degen, I’m still hitting the rink again tomorrow for a winning play. Pittsburgh Penguins vs Nashville Predators

Yes, for the first time ever in my daily best bet history, we’re headed to Stockholm, Sweden. The 2025 NHL Global Series Sweden kicks off tomorrow, as the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Nashville Predators play the first of two games across the pond (the second game goes down on Sunday). So I won’t be including any home ice advantage data into my breakdown (the Penguins have three Swedes on their roster, the Predators two, for what it’s worth).
What has happened to the Penguins we’ve gotten to know over the past few seasons?! Pittsburgh is actually good this season, with 21 points in 17 games. Apparently, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have found a fountain of youth, because they both are playing fabulously. Oh, and the Predators suck.
The advanced stats have Pittsburgh over a goal better than Nashville tomorrow in Stockholm, so the Penguins on a very nice moneyline is my best bet for Friday.
