Well, UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs Onama (aka UFC Vegas 110) lived up to what we expect from a UFC Apex fight event. Boring fights and controversy ruled the day. And we’re back at the Apex for another inconsequential Fight Night card this coming weekend. But we can at least win some money on it. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 111, I’ve got a two-to-one dog on the main card. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 111
UFC Fight Night: Bonfim vs Brown (UFC Vegas 111)
Start Time: 4:00 PM EST – (ESPN+)
This may be an even worse fight card on paper than last week’s UFC event, but its quality does not affect our ability to make money (assuming fighters are not throwing fights, that is). And I’ve got a nice spot that pays out +200 for us on Saturday’s main event. Even better – the fighter is named ‘Taco’.
While his government name is Chris Padilla, everyone knows him as Taco. And Taco is going to beat Ismael Bonfim on Saturday, because Taco is far more dangerous than Bonfim. Bonfim may be the better striker and better grappler, but Padilla finds a way to win fights and finish opponents. He should be a very live dog.
