Well, UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs Onama (aka UFC Vegas 110) lived up to what we expect from a UFC Apex fight event. Boring fights and controversy ruled the day. And we’re back at the Apex for another inconsequential Fight Night card this coming weekend. But we can at least win some money on it. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 111, I’ve got your winner for Saturday’s main event. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 111
UFC Fight Night: Bonfim vs Brown (UFC Vegas 111)
Main Card Start Time: 7:00 PM EST – (ESPN+)
At the very least, we’ve got a good main event on paper for Saturday, as up-and-coming welterweight prospect Gabriel Bonfim gets his first UFC main event slot, facing difficult veteran Randy Brown. And my money is going on the Brazilian, Bonfim.
‘Marretinha’ got his prospect loss out of the way already, losing to Nicolas Dalby a couple of years ago. And while Brown is long and very solid everywhere, I think that Bonfim’s exceptional grappling and ground game will carry the day for him here and allow him to get his hand raised at the end of the night.
