Welcome to Week 9 of NFL action! Bye-Mageddon is behind us, and this week is loaded with intriguing matchups. The week started off strong with huge games from Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Zay Flowers on Thursday Night Football. Let’s dive into the rest of the week and find the best NFL player prop bets for Week 9.
Just four teams are on bye in Week 9. The Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles will all rest up and reload for Week 10. Another week with no international games; those will return next week. The morning window is loaded with closely predicted games. In the afternoon, we’ll get just three games. Kansas City at Buffalo, which should be the game of the week, is the headliner. Seattle and Washington square off on Sunday night. Monday night is the no-defense game with the Cardinals at the Cowboys.

Kyle Pitts Over 45.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The New England Patriots have been playing lights out, especially on the defensive side of the ball. However, they have one big glowing weakness. Defending the tight end. No team has allowed more receiving yards per game to the position than the Patriots in 2025. On top of that, I expect the Falcons to be behind in this game. Leading to needing to throw the ball more, Pitts should be able to make himself open in the middle of the field and rack up the yards. Pitts is having a solid season in 2025 with 344 yards on 39 catches over seven games. Pitts has gone over 59 receiving yards in four of the seven games this season, averaging over 49 yards per game.
Kyle Pitts v. NE: Pitts is quietly on pace for 90+ receptions for the season. This is a reminder that talent eventually wins out. Pitts was the bright spot in and otherwise forgetful day for the Falxons in WK8: 9/9 rec | 59 yds. ~10 tgts in last two. pic.twitter.com/rFuxVlD636

Patrick Mahomes Over 276.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Patrick Mahomes in a big game on a Sunday afternoon when all eyes will be on him against the Buffalo Bills. This is exactly the situation I want to bet on Mahomes. He’s second in the NFL this season in pass yards with 2,099, trailing only Justin Herbert. Mahomes is currently the all-time leader in passing yards per game (287.1). This season, his average is 262.4 yards per game. In three of his last four games against Buffalo, Mahomes has had at least 270 passing yards and an average of 260.4 per game. 270 is a mark Mahomes has passed for in the Chiefs’ last two games and in four of their last six games.
Kimani Vidal Over 78.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
The Tennessee Titans are a bad football team. This isn’t a news flash for anyone; it’s just facts. The Chargers head to Nashville to take on the Titans, and Jim Harbaugh loves to run the football. Vidal is the main back for the Titans right now, and Harbaugh isn’t afraid to use him. Vidal had 23 attempts last week against the Minnesota Vikings for 117 yards. Just a few weeks ago, he dashed for 124 yards on 18 carries against the Miami Dolphins. Tennessee has one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, allowing 142.6 rushing yards per game. With the Chargers’ offensive line getting healthier, and the fact that they should be up in this game. Look for Harbaugh to pound the ball up the middle with Vidal and rack up those yards.
Likely no Hassan Haskins this week
Omarion Hampton still in a boot?
Chargers 10 point favorites vs TEN
If Kimani Vidal was a 2nd round pick from an SEC school, this would be the eruption spot of all time

Marvin Harrison Jr Over 52.5 Receiving Yards (-120)
To the Monday Night Football game. Only the Pittsburgh Steelers have a worse passing defense this year than the Dallas Cowboys. They have no pass rush, and when Kyler Murray isn’t being pressured, he thrives. That’s going to open things up for Marvin Harrison Jr., the second-year wide receiver, who is having a solid start to the 2025 year. He’s hit this total in three of the Cardinals’ last four games and five times overall this year.
