Daily NBA Player Props – October 30th
Kon Knueppel – Over 13.5 Points (-104)
For the record, I also like the lines you can find on Knueppel to make either two or three three-pointers. In each of the first four games of the season, he has made at least three from deep and topped out at four made three-pointers last time. He’s taking tons of deep shots – shooting 11 last game and averaging 7.5 per game on the season. That volume has helped him to be over this points mark in each of his last three games. Now he gets a Magic team that has allowed 271 points over the last two games.
Isaiah Hartenstein – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-121)
There is no Chet Holmgren in the Thunder’s frontcourt on Thursday, and that usually is great news for Hartenstein and his props. When Holmgren was out last game, he picked up 14 boards. That gives him the over on this projection in three of the last four games – all of which he has had ouble figures in. Until Chet comes back, I’m pounding the over in this one.
Al Horford – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (+116)
This is a personal favorite of mine as Horford always surprises with the deep ball. Last game, his first in his return from a brief injury, he didn’t make a single one. He did get three shots off from three-point, but largely didn’t have to chase it thanks to a blowout win. Give him a game to get his touch back as well as to be ready for more minutes. Plus, combine it with a closer game, he should be looking to help his team out with one of his specialties.
