With a win on Tuesday, the Blue Jays not only took back home field advantage, but they also assured us at least two more NRFI opportunities. So for Game 5 of the World Series, we’ll look to make another NRFI bets for October 29.
We’re back to the front of the rotation, which gives us a sample to make our NRFI and YRFI props for October 29. Come check out what we have cooked up for this slate of games.

On Wednesday we return to the Game 1 pitching matchup, which successfully put up an NRFI. We’re going to bank on that for a couple reasons. Firstly, the bats just don’t seem to get going for either of these two teams until later in the game. Even when we’re seeing some big run scoring, it generally happens the second time through, or even from the bottom of the order.
Another reason why we like it here is that Blake Snell will be first on the bump. While he did give up an unprecedented five runs in 5.0 innings last time out, he had the Blue Jays scoreless through the first three innings. The only trouble he ran into early was when he walked two in the first inning. I’m not really taking that as a concern, as he only walked one more over the next 4.0 innings.
We also like the NRFI thanks to Trey Yesavage on the bump. He gave us a scoreless first in Game 1, which include a rare strikeout of Shohei Ohtani. He has been throwing plenty of his offspeed stuff. With the way that his splitter works, he manages to limit the fly balls. As a result, I think he should keep those big boppers at the top in the park and keep out NRFI in tact yet again.
NRFI/YRFI Bet for October 29: No (-100)
