Daily NBA Player Props – October 29th

Max Christie – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (+183)

Max Christie has been lighting it up from downtown this year. In four games, he has never come up short of this mark. The more impressive thing is that he is doing it without taking too many shots either – he’s averaging just 5.75 three-pointers a game. However, he is hitting 56.5% of those shots. Indiana and Dallas are likely to be in a close one here and the Mavericks should probably lean on a few more attempts from Christie.

Wendell Carter Jr. – Over 8.5 Rebounds (-102)

Wendell Carter Jr. is coming in way over this line when it comes to his season average. In four games, he’s putting up an average of 9.8 rebounds per game and has been trending in the right direction for us. He’s had 10 and 13 over the last two games against Philadelphia and Chicago, respectively. Detroit is in the bottom third of the league when it comes to total opponent rebounds per game, and have given up double figure rebounds to one player in each game this season. If that’s the case here, it should be Carter Jr.

Domantas Sabonis – Under 17.5 Points (-112)

If it isn’t broke, then you don’t fix it. As I wrote yesterday, there seems to be something still wrong with Sabonis’ hamstring. He missed the first game of the year with a strain and since then hasn’t looked like himself scoring the rock. He’s putting up just 10.7 points per game in the early going and has a season-high of just 12. He took a few more shots on Tuesday, but you have to wonder how the back-to-back games is going to effect him here in terms of output and minutes.
