I should change this to a goal and assist parlay, because without fail, I’m nailing one half of my daily goal scorer parlay, then my other half doesn’t score a goal, but instead records an assist. Vegas Golden Knights vs Florida Panthers
Start Time: 6:00 PM EST
We head to the home of the defending back-to-back champs, the Florida Panthers, first. The injury-depleted squad is off to a slow 4-5 start, and will have its hands full with the undefeated (5-0-2) Vegas Golden Knights tomorrow night.
One player that isn’t off to a slow start is Florida’s Sam Reinhart. The center has three goals, but he should have double that amount if not for lousy luck (according to Expected Goals). Reinhart’s luck will eventually swing in the other direction.
Carolina Hurricanes vs Dallas Stars
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The leader in Expected Goals this season is also the leader in real-life goals, Carolina Hurricanes center Seth Jarvis. He’ll be on the road facing the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.
Jarvis has seven goals in seven games this season. Let’s hope the good times keep rolling tomorrow night.
