We get a border battle of sorts tomorrow night, as neighbors and Atlantic Division rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Sabres, do battle in Buffalo. And take a crazy guess who I’m betting on scoring for the visitors tomorrow night?
Auston Matthews, you say? Correct. He’s scored four times already this season, but his Expected Goals sit at 5.1, so luck might be swinging into his favor very soon.
Calgary Flames vs Winnipeg Jets
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Calgary Flames are off to a miserable 1-6-1 start to the season, and things probably aren’t going to pick up for them tomorrow when they jump over a couple of provinces and face the Winnipeg Jets in Manitoba.
Also, and most importantly, Mark Scheifele is going to find the back of the Flames’ net tomorrow night. Scheifele is on a heater, scoring seven times already in the early goings this season.
