NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Wednesday (October 22nd): NHL Predictions
Minnesota Wild vs New Jersey Devils

I’m using the Expected Goals stat to build my goal scorer parlay for Wednesday, choosing two players who are among the NHL leaders in the stat this season. The first would be the Minnesota Wild’s Matt Boldy.
Boldy is seventh in the league in Expected Goals with 4.3, and in real life, he has scored exactly that – four goals in seven games this season. He’s been a solid 30-goal scorer during his career, so his scoring rate this season isn’t much of an aberration.
Montreal Canadiens vs Calgary Flames
Start Time: 8:30 PM EST
The Montreal Canadiens are off to a hot start this season (5-2), and so is one of their young talents, Cole Caufield. Caufield leads the team with five goals this year, slightly above the 3.3 he would be expected to score.
The 24-year-old has increased his scoring each season in the league, going from four to 23 to 26 to 28 to 37. Let’s hope he adds to this season’s total tomorrow against the Calgary Flames.
