NFL Week 7 Defensive Player Props – Best Bets
Our Favorite Sack Props
Charles Omenihu – KC (+270)
Omenihu has already grabbed a sack in back to back games, and the stars are aligning for another on Sunday. Geno Smith is under center and he’s been sacked the third most amount of times this year. In six games, he’s been sacked 18 times overall. The Raiders are fixing to be trailing for a lot of this game, which should give us more dropbacks to find one on.
Nik Bonitto – DEN (+115)
You have to like Bonitto on Sunday for a couple of reasons. Firstly, he’s been absolutely racking up the sacks. In the last four games, he’s rattled off sveen sacks – an insane pace. Now he gets to face Jaxson Dart, who has been pretty easy to sack. With 85 passing attempts on the year, he already has been sacked eight times. He likes to scramble and run, which will give Bonitto plenty of chances to find him.
Our Favorite Tackle Props
Jamien Sherwood – NYJ – Over 8.5 Tackles and Assists (-110)
I love both the trend here as well as the matchup. The Carolina Panthers have been running the ball a ton lately. They ran the ball 37 times last week, which put them second in the league. They have been top three in attempts over the last three weeks. That’s going to open up chances for linebackers to find tackles. Sherwood has been in doubel figures in four of the last five weeks. He should do so again here.
DaRon Bland – DAL – Over 4.5 Tackles and Assists (-135)
This Cowboys defense is hurting and I imagine the game is going to turn into a shootout. If that’s the case, you want to be on the side of the tackle numbers for these Cowboys defensive backs. Bland has been over this mark in three of his last five. His only misses were when the opposing run game got out of control.
Our Favorite Interception Props
Grant Delpit – CLE (+650)
The Browns aren’t known for their secondary play. In fact, they have just two picks all year. One belongs to this guy, who has also been getting his hands to some passes lately. Tua Tagovailoa was picked three times last week and tow of the three of them came from safeties hawking the ball. Delpit should find an opportunity to do the same here.
Divine Deablo – ATL (+825)
Brock Purdy has thrown two picks in each of the games that he’s played. Of the four interceptions that he’s thrown, three of them have been to opposing linebackers. Deablo is second on the team in terms of pass deflections already. Now he’ going to get a chance to grab one of these ducks across the middle.
