MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Vancouver
UFC Vancouver Bantamweight Fight: Marlon Vera vs Aiemann Zahabi
Start Time: 4:00pm EST (ESPN+)
If we look to the third fight from the top, there are a pair of fighters looking to throw down. They likely will get exactly what they are looking for, and for that reason I really like looking to the significant strikes numbers.
Aiemann Zahabi is the first fighter we are banking on scoring some big strikes. He has been over the 65 significant strike mark in all of his last three fights. More importantly, the average wasn’t remotely close to what we’re working with. He has averaged 94.3 significant strikes per fight in that span.
His opponent is likely to make it even easier. Marlon Vera has posted more than 55 significant strikes in seven of his last eight fights. That inlcudes several fights that ended early due to finishes. The only fight he didn’t get over this mark is his last one against Deiveson Figueiredo. In that fight, it was grappling heavy, but he still managed 52 significant strikes.
With all of that in the bag, I think we can score some plus-money.
