We started the weekend off right with our first inning action. For the fifth straight game, the Brewers and Cubs scored in the first inning. Somehow we still got a plus-money line on the YRFI. Now we’re back at it again with NRFI bets for October 12.
The American League Championship Series starts today and we’re giving you the NRFI and YRFI props for October 12. Come check out what we have cooked up for this slate of games.

MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – October 12
Seattle MAriners vs. Toronto Blue Jays
First Pitch – 8:03 pm EST
Rogers Centre – Toronto, ON
Broadcast – FOX
For the second straight day, we’re playing the YRFI instead in our lone game. Both sides are at the same price right now and for good reasons. The first of those reasons is that the offense of the Blue Jays is really firing on all cylinders. They scored 34 runs in the series with the Yankees in just four games (8.5 runs per game). They’ll get Bryce Miller on Sunday and he hasn’t exactly been a killer out there lately. He got smoked in the month of September, posting a 5.61 ERA over five starts. Three of the teams in that stretch were amongst the six worst in run scoring in the league. Now he just happens to be facing the team that ranks second in that category.
The Mariners also have not been on fire as of late, but some of that can be attributed to the solid pitching of the Tigers. Now they’ll get a bit of a break with Kevin Gausman on the bump. Over his last three starts, he’s allowed nine runs in just 15.0 innings – that’s a 5.40 ERA in that span. He isn’t going to like seeing Cal Raleigh in the box either. Raleigh is a career 6-for-14 against him with half of those hits being dingers. That comes out to a 1.071 slugging percentage and a 1.571 OPS. He should help us generate an early run in this one.
NRFI/YRFI Bet for October 12: Yes (-115)
