Four games into the season, the Chicago Bears already have two wins! This counts as progress for a team that was 5-12 last season. Under the hood, however, the advanced stats aren’t being fooled by the Bears’ .500 record, as their weak strength of schedule – among many things – has Chicago ranked as the second-worst team in the NFC, only ahead of the New Orleans Saints.
The Washington Commanders, sitting at 3-2, are a much better team despite only holding one more win than the Bears. Washington is stronger on offense, stronger on defense, and has played a slightly better schedule. And they’re at home tomrorow night, where they are undefeated this season. Oh, and they have that Jayden Daniels guy – he’s pretty good.
After crunching all the applicable data, my line for this game tomorrow night is Washington -12. That would make the Commanders on the spread an easy play for me to make as my best bet for Monday.
