So the New York Jets go from playing their home games in a different state at a stadium they share with another NFL team, to having to cross the ocean for a ‘home game’ this week. And having dropped all five of their games this season, they don’t need any other obstacles to winning games.
The Denver Broncos, along with the trans-Atlantic travel, will both stand as obstacles to the Jets winning a game this week. While the Broncos only sit at 3-2, they did hand the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles their first loss last week (a win that hasn’t aged well, though), and the advanced stats love them, ranking Denver as the third-best team in the AFC and tied for fifth-best in the NFL.
After crunching the numbers (and not giving the Jets the home-field advantage), my line for this game is Denver -18.5, making the Broncos my best bet for Sunday.
