The UFC pulled a fast one on us in September, not scheduling any pay-per-view fight cards. But they are making up for it in October, with two ‘numbered events’ for us. And it starts this Saturday with UFC 320 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 320, I’ve got a winner for a light heavyweight fight. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 320
UFC 320: Ankalaev vs Pereira 2
Main Card Start Time: 10:00 PM EST – (PPV)
The UFC put former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jiri Prochazka on this card as a potential backup in case either of the participants in the main event falls off. If that doesn’t happen, then Prochazka will be facing another former title challenger in Khalil Rountree, third from the top, on Saturday night.
And Prochazka is my pick in this fight. Rountree has made it much higher up the ranks in the UFC than I had predicted for him, but I still don’t feel like he’s on Prochazka’s level. Prochazka has lost to one man since joining the UFC five years ago – Alex Pereira. I think his aggressive, explosive striking will be too much for Rountree.
