Cincinnati Bengals vs Denver Broncos
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
All gamblers can sympathize with what has happened to the Denver Broncos the past two weeks, as it’s been bad-beat central for them. After beating the Tennessee Titans in their season opener, the Broncos lost by one point to the Indianapolis Colts and three points to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The visiting Cincinnati Bengals, meanwhile, won two squeakers to kick off the season, then got crushed by 38 points by the Minnesota Vikings last week. So, despite the Broncos being 1-2 and the Bengals sitting at 2-1, the Broncos are the far better team, in my eyes.
And the advanced stats agree with me. Despite winning two of three, Cincinnati comes up as over 10 points worse than the average team per game (Denver, meanwhile, is almost two points better than average). When you crunch the numbers and add in the Broncos’ solid home field advantage, I come up with the line of Denver -15, making the Broncos on the spread my best bet for Monday.
