The 3-0 Indianapolis Colts, led by Peyton- scratch that, Daniel Jones, head to Los Angeles this week. They’ll meet up with Matthew Stafford and the 2-1 Los Angeles Rams at So-Fi Stadium in another game that could challenge for game of the week. Let’s take a look at this Colts-Rams preview and predictions.
I joke about Daniel Jones in the opening, but he really has looked like a stud quarterback through three weeks of action. He’s completing passes at a 71.6% rate. He’s thrown for 816 yards, thrown three touchdowns, and rushed for another three. Jonathan Taylor looks young and revitalized, and the Colts’ defense has held up well. The biggest question mark is that two of the teams they’ve played are the Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans. Can they keep it up against a team like the Rams?
Los Angeles is 2-1, but their lone loss came to the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles last week in a game where it looked like the Rams had a chance for a while. They also beat the Tennessee Titans and picked up a Week 1 win over the Houston Texans. Wide receiver Devante Adams is questionable to play on Sunday, but should be good to go.

Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams Preview and Predictions
Kyren Williams Over 69.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
The Los Angeles Rams love to run the ball. They love to do so almost exclusively with Kyren Williams when they do it. Williams has 55 attempts through three games and is the workhorse for this team. Last week, in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Kyren ran for 94 yards. In each of the other two, he landed right at 66 yards.
Sean McVay will likely want to slow the game down a little as his defense focuses on picking apart Daniel Jones. If they can grind it out on the ground, they’d love to. Indianapolis has a tough defense, but it gave up 76 yards to JK Dobbins in Week 2. In Week 1, Devon Achane got loose for 55 yards on just seven carries, as the team was playing from behind all day. Williams will run at this defense over and over, and bully his way to a 70+ yard day.
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-105)
Yes, the Colts have looked great through three weeks, and I think they’ll have a solid season. But, they’ve yet to play a team as good as this one, with a head coach like Sean McVay. Daniel Jones has looked good, operating the offense smoothly, but he hasn’t looked invincible. The Colts are a bad penalty call away from being 2-1 with wins only over the Titans and Dolphins. Los Angeles losing last week is going to have them fired up and ready to take out their anger on the Colts. I believe the Rams are simply the better team in this game.
