Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys Preview and Predictions

Sunday action is here with the Packers Cowboys Preview, Predictions and Picks. Which team takes home the week 4 win? NFL Week 4 Picks

Sunday Night Football heads to Jerry’s World with the Cowboys desperate to get back on track. They were embarrassed in Chicago last week and dropped to 1-2 on the year. The Packers have had a better start – standing at 2-1 – but they also had an unfortunate Week 3. Their offense disappeared in a 13-10 loss to the winless Browns. Which of these teams is going to find their footing yet again? Check out our Packers-Cowboys predictions to find out.

The problem for the Cowboys this year has been the defense. It started with last year’s injuries to DeMarvion Overshown, who has missed the whole season, and Trevon Diggs, who has not been himself. Then they went ahead and traded Micah Parsons away after an ugly contract dispute. Now they don’t just have to figure things out on defense, but they have to gameplan for the their former All-Pro who is lining up on the opposite side of the field.

The additions to the defense have done well for the Packers. After a 2024 that had them just outside of the top five in defense, they made one major addition to go along with a couple of smaller ones, and now have the least amount of points per game allowed. With as bad as the Cowboys were on offense last week, it might be time for that defense to feast yet again.

Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys Preview and Predictions

Micah Parsons to record a Sack (-140)

This might be the trendy pick, and we’re definitely paying for the narrative, but there is no way that he goes into Dallas and doesn’t come away with a sack. The game is on primetime and Jerry Jones is going to be all over the broadcast – what more motivation could he need? Additionally, we’re seeing the snap restriction shrink for him over the last couple weeks, which should mean that he has even more chances to get to his friend Dak.

Dallas Cowboys +7 (-105)

While I just laid out plenty of ways that the Cowboys can’t win this, I still think they should be able to keep things close. The Cowboys have notoriously always played well at home. Apart from a Week 17 loss to the Eagles, they didn’t lose a single home game by more than seven points. The Packers offsense didn’t look like it would blow anyone’s doors off last week, so I expect this one to stay within a score.
