It was an ugly first couple of weeks for Chicago this year. They opened with the Vikings and seemingly had then right where they wanted them – only to give up 21 in the fourth quarter to lose by three. Then they proceeded to get blown out of the water by the Lions – hardly the start Ben Johnson was looking for. However, they found their feet in Week 3 when they thrashed the Cowboys by 17 points. With his offense firing on all cylinders in that one, Coach Johnson is hoping to keep the good times rolling on the road.

The Raiders have the same 1-2 record on the year, but the opposite trajectory to get there. They opened with a nice win over the Patriots on the road, but have since struggled. They dropped their home opener to the Chargers while failing to put the ball in the end zone. Then they were beat up by a Jayden Daniel-less Commanders by 17 points.

Chicago Bears at Las Vegas Raiders Preview and Predictions

Rome Odunze Over 5.5 Receptions (+121)

Odunze has quickly become Caleb Williams’ favorite target. In his three games this year, he’s been the target of 27 passes already. That number is acutally hald back a little by their most recent game in which he had just seven targets. That’s because the game wasn’t close and they decide to run the clock down a bit. In what should be a much closer game, the Bears passing game is sure to go back to its active ways. When it doesn, there are easily six receptions out there for the second year wideout.

Chicago Bears +1.5 (-115)

One thing is definitely true for this game – the passing games will be active. We already talked about the Bears, and Geno Smith has tossed for 277.0 per game. While that’s some good production, I think the turnovers could cost them here. He threw three picks last game and the Bears are ball hawking. They already have four picks on the year, led by Tremaine Edmunds with a pair. If the defense looks like it did last week, they should be able to keep Geno in check and win this one.
