New York Jets vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We’ve got some AFC vs NFC action going down in Tampa tomorrow afternoon, as the 0-2 New York Jets are in town to face the 2-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are following up on a 10-win season, one in which they made the playoffs for the fifth-straight year. And the Jets are, well, being the Jets.
The Jets have won a total of five road games over the past two seasons, and I don’t see them adding to that total tomorrow and picking up their first win of the season. New York’s starting quarterback, Justin Fields, has been solid in his first season with the team, but he has a concussion and will not be suiting up on Sunday.
My line, based on this year’s advanced stats, is Tampa Bay -37 (small sample size); based on last year’s, it’s Tampa Bay -13 (probably more realistic). Anyway you cut it, the Buccaneers are going to win tomorrow. And they’re going to cover.
