They’re doing it to us again. For the second time in less than a month, there is no UFC event taking place this coming Saturday. But the lights of the octagon will be back on next week in Perth, Australia, as the UFC hosts events for nine straight Saturdays. In the meantime, there is still plenty of MMA action occurring outside of the UFC this week. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: DWCS Week 6, I’ve got a live dog for tonight’s action. Main Card Start Time: Tuesday – 8:00 PM EST – (ESPN+)
While the UFC may not be running this week, there will still be action in the UFC Apex, as it hosts Week 6 of Dana White’s Contender Series tonight. Ten more fighters will try to earn themselves a UFC contract tonight.
We also got some very playable lines for tonight’s festivities, with plenty of live dogs. One such dog is Adam Livingston, who’s fighting in a lightweight bout against Tommy Gantt. Livingston is eight years younger than Gantt, yet just as experienced, and will be the better and more powerful striker in this matchup.
