It’s the time of the season where Raiders fans are hopeful of what’s to come. That hope can continue another week after picking up a gutsy 20-13 Week 1 win against the New England Patriots. Several new faces helped make that possible including quarterback Geno Smith, who followed his head coach in Seattle to Las Vegas. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty immediately returned on his investment by finding the end zone against the Pats. This week they return home to Allegiant Stadium where they have beaten the Chargers in two of their last three matchups in Las Vegas.

Los Angeles is riding high after winning its season opener against the Chiefs. The Chargers enjoyed a big game from their signal caller Justin Herbert who threw for 318 yards and 3 touchdowns last week. His night was made possible largely due to the efforts of Quentin Johnston. The young wideout caught 5 of his 7 targets for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns. Los Angeles went 4-2 against the AFC West last season including two wins against Las Vegas.

Quentin Johnston Over 43.5 Receiving Yards (-110 via ESPN BET)

Johnston led the Chargers last week with 79 receiving yards in his season debut. The young wideout caught 5 of his 7 targets on the night. He averaged an impressive 15.8 yards per reception in that game and had a long reception of 33 yards. Last season, Johnston surpassed this total in 8 of his 15 appearances including four of his last five. He last faced the Raiders in Week 18 of last season and in that game he caught 13 of his 14 targets for 186 yards.

This week, he will face a Las Vegas team that allowed three New England pass catchers to exceed this prop total. The Raiders defense allowed 9.6 yards per reception to the Patriots last week.

Brock Bowers Longest Reception Over 19.5 (-115 via DRAFTKINGS)

Bowers once again topped the stats sheet as the Raiders leading pass catcher putting up 103 receiving yards on 5 receptions against New England. His longest catch was a 38-yarder in the third quarter. All told, the star tight end snarred three passes that would have cashed this prop. Bowers registered 12 games with a reception of at least 20 yards in his rookie campaign last season. He has cleared this total in each of his two career matchups against the Chargers.
