Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Houston Texans
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
We actually have two games tomorrow night for Monday Night Football, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visiting the Houston Texans in the early game (the Los Angeles Chargers vs the Las Vegas Raiders is the late game). The Bucs started their season off by sneaking by the Falcons in Atlanta by a field goal, while the Texans lost by five at Los Angeles against the Rams.
And I don’t foresee things getting better for the Texans in their home opener tomorrow night. Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield was only 17-32 for 167 yards in Week 1, but he threw for three touchdowns (and no interceptions), and that’s the name of the game. I have more faith in him coming through than Houston’s C.J. Stroud, who is seemingly continuing to regress from his rookie season in 2023.
My line for tomorrow is Tampa Bay -4.5, so the Buccaneers plus the points on the spread is my best bet for Monday.
