Mark Gronowski Higher Than 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs

Iowa gets UMass coming to Kinnick Stadium this weekend. Hawkeyes quarterback has scored one touchdown in each of Iowa’s first three games. He’s essentially the Hawkeyes’ goal-line back, and now he gets UMass on the road? Let’s roll with Gronowski to get six at least once in a game that the Hawkeyes should dominate.

UMass got roasted by the Temple Owls in Week One. The Minuteman allowed the Owls to rack up 191 yards on 37 carries, but Temple didn’t find the end zone on the ground. Temple scored six touchdowns, but all through the air.

In Week Two, UMass lost to the Bryant Bulldogs of the FCS. Bryant ran for 81 yards on 25 carries and also didn’t find the end zone on the ground.

Iowa is built differently. The forward pass rarely makes an appearance in Iowa City, and the Hawkeyes should use their superior physicality to bully the Minutemen on Saturday. Also, if Iowa gets near the goal line, you know QB Power is the play call. If you want to get a little spicy, you could even go with Gronowski to score the first touchdown. That’s only +272 at Underdog Fantasy.

However, for our Underdog Fantasy college football entry, we’ll roll with UMass to give up a rushing or receiving touchdown to Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski.

Mike Washington, Jr., Higher Than 56.5 Rushing Yards

Arkansas heads to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to face off against Ole Miss on Saturday. The Rebels just got done getting roasted for 172 yards on 37 carries by Kentucky in Week Two. Before that? Georgia State ran for 191 yards on 35 carries. The Rebels can get battered on the ground, and Arkansas has the guys to take advantage.

Razorbacks running back Mike Washington Jr. racked up 79 yards on nine carries against Alabama A&M in Week One. Washington also got nine carries against Arkansas State in Week Two. He managed 116 yards against the Red Wolves.

Washington played with New Mexico State last year, so he only faced one SEC team last year. It was Texas A&M, and he managed 37 yards on 12 carries behind a C-uSA offensive line. Washington gets an SEC offensive line and a defense that struggles to contain the ground game.

The best defense for Arkansas against Ole Miss is a ball-control offense. That means QB Power with Taylen Green and plenty of hand-offs to Washington. Lock up Mike Washington Jr. to go higher than 56.5 rushing yards against Ole Miss in your Underdog Fantasy college football entry for this week.

Beau Sparks Higher Than 54.5 Receiving Yards

Texas State travels to Tucson, AZ, for a matchup with Arizona State. The Sun Devils have been thrown against in their first two games this year. The play here is Bobcats receiver Beau Sparks.

Arizona State allowed two Northern Arizona receivers to go higher than 70 receiving yards in a Week One win over the Lumberjacks. In Week Two, the Sun Devils surrendered 279 yards through the air against Mississippi State. Two Bulldogs receivers went over 100 yards.

Texas State receiver Beau Sparks racked up 82 yards against Eastern Michigan in Week One. He followed that effort with 155 yards against UTSA. Sparks was with Texas State last year and featured in the game they played against Arizona State in San Marcos, TX. Sparks hauled in five catches for 60 yards and a touchdown last year.

Sparks has already gone higher than his listed total as a sophomore on a loaded Texas State offense. He’s now a featured receiver on a solid Texas State offense. The Bobcats will likely have to play from behind, and that means they’ll be slinging it for most of the game. Sparks should have no problem getting over 54.5 yards in this spot, even if freshman quarterback Brad Jackson struggles.

Take Beau Sparks to go higher than 54.5 receiving yards in your Underdog Fantasy college football entry.
