Best Bet For Thursday (September 4th): NFL Predictions
DALLAS COWBOYS VS PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
We get an NFC East rivalry game to kick off the 2025 NFL season, as the Dallas Cowboys head to Philadelphia to face the champs, the Eagles. And if that isn’t a daunting enough task, the Cowboys are still reeling after trading away the anchor of their defense and one of the best players in the game, linebacker Micah Parsons, after a contract dispute.
With the Parsons debacle and a season win total set at 7.5, these are not the best times to be a fan of America’s Team. And to kick off their season, they have to face the hated Eagles, who went 8-1 at home last year, had one of the league’s best offenses, and are the defending champions.
Dallas’s defense is going to be an issue this season, and I expect Jalen Hurts and the Eagles to take advantage of it tomorrow night. My line is Philadelphia -16, so the Eagles on the spread is my best bet for Thursday.
