After a very quiet, boring week for MMA action, the UFC is back in action this week. And the octagon is on the road, meaning we’re getting a solid fight card. UFC Fight Night: Imavov vs Borralho goes down in the Accor Arena in Paris, France, on Saturday night, with French fighters in the top two fights. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Paris, I’m not in on a French fighter, but instead a Lithuanian-British one. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Paris
UFC FIGHT NIGHT: IMAVOV VS BORRALHO (AKA UFC PARIS)
Main Card Start Time: Saturday – 3:00 PM EST – (ESPN+)
After going 1-3 in his initial UFC stint and subsequently getting cut from the promotion, light heavyweight Modestas Bukauskas is making the most of his second chance in the big show. ‘The Baltic Gladiator’ is 5-1 since rejoining the UFC in 2023, and has won three straight fights.
And he’s getting a favorable matchup on Saturday, facing a past-his-prime grappler, Paul Craig, who is 0-3 (1) over his last four and 1-5 (1) over his last seven fights, spanning three years. Bukauskas is strong everywhere and should be able to batter Craig on the feet and/or the ground, if needed. And Bukauskas has only been submitted once in his career, nine years ago, so he should be able to stay safe.
