Another lost season for the Pittsburgh Pirates, another winning one for the Boston Red Sox. It looked like the Sox weren’t going to make any noise this season, but they have turned it on lately, winning 19 of their last 30 games.
If I were betting on this game tomorrow, I’d be putting my money on the Red Sox. However, this is a player prop bet I’m writing about, so I don’t care who wins the game. All I care about is Pittsburgh pitcher Mitch Keller’s performance.
Why Keller? Because he’s up against Boston, and the Red Sox hitters have a bad habit of striking out. A lot. The fifth-most in the majors, to be exact. Coming off a nine-strikeout game in his last appearance, I like Keller to hit the over on the K prop for us tomorrow.
