Best Bet For Sunday (August 31st): US Open Predictions
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA VS TAYLOR TOWNSEND

The 2025 US Open tennis tournament rolls into Round 4 tomorrow, with four matches on both the men’s and women’s side of the draw. It’s the ladies’ draw where I’ve found the most playable line for tomorrow and have made it my best bet.
The match in question pits a two-time Grand Slam singles champion (French Open and Wimbledon), the Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova, up against American upstart Taylor Townsend.
This is the furthest Townsend has made it in the US Open, and she has been steamrolling the competition, having yet to drop a set. But Krejcikova has only lost one set, and has beaten Townsend in their only prior meeting, also on hard court.
The Czech player is a better all-around player, excels on the hard court, has more high-pressure Grand Slam experience, and is undefeated against Townsend (although the sample size is small, I know). And we’re getting her on a very playable moneyline.
